Also were your calories the same when you were first starting out?
For instance during liquids I was consuming about 650 calories a day, now during mushies I am averaging about 1000. I think I should be around 1200 but I noticed the scale is going in the wrong direction. It is probably just because of the transition from Liquid to mushies.... but just curious to see what everyone Else's magic number is.
During mushies, I averaged around 900 but I hit a point where I didn't lose anything for a few weeks and my husband suggested that I increase my calories...so I bumped it up to 1,000-1,100 per day and that worked well for the first 6 or 7 months and then I hit another stall. I bumped my calories up again to about 1,200-1,300 and that is working well for me right now (and, yes, I do track my calories every single day - for me, that has been the key).
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I never really counted calories.
ReplyDeleteI can tell you that I think I am right at the green zone with 4.2 cc's though.
I aim for 1300 a day and on MFP they have a feature that tells you at the end of the food logging day what you would weigh if you ate that many calories for 5weeks, it is a neat little piece of info.
ReplyDeletemine is 1500. I never get there any more.
ReplyDeleteBut while on liquid it wasn't a big deal. Everything slowed as soon as I went to solid food! When you start to feel real restriction your will be shocked at how hard it is to hit your calorie level.
But I do like to calorie count. At this stage in the game I keep track only for curiousity sake. When I stop losing or if I plateau again I will be back to counting strictly
You know how I do. lol
ReplyDeleteI track and I keep my calories around 1200-1300 and this is working.
ReplyDeleteI try and stay between 1200-1400.
