74 days and counting!

74 days and counting until my surgery! I am very excited. My surgery date was offically set for October 14th!

At the end of September, I get the lovely pleasure of taking a stress test, and getting the pre op stuff and I am good to go!

I have a mix of emotions going on at the moment... from happiness to being scared! I have never put myself first... it has always been work, or school, or a boyfriend, or my family. I am really looking foward to putting myself on the front burner and to work on me... everything is comes second now!

BYOC

A little ditty where we answer a few questions on Friday to get to know each other better and to give our blogging brains a break.  Copy and paste to your own blog if you so desire!  Enjoy!

1.  Sun or rain?  Roses or tulips?  Romantic movie or comedy?

Both… I love the sun, even though you wouldn’t think I am since I am glow in the dark pale… but I do. However in Florida it gets too hot sometimes and I don’t want to leave the house.

I also love the rain especially thunderstorms. It makes  me want to cuddle on the couch and enjoy a good movie or a book.

2.  I've been sick lately and haven't eaten in two days - except for ice cream...which leads me to ask - what's your favorite ice cream flavor?

I love chocolate. My favorite ice cream lately is weight watchers giant chocolate cookies and cream bar.

3.  Are you a door locker - in your house and car?

I am a locker.. I always chain the door and lock it when I am at home. My car does an auto lock as soon as I put it into drive.

4.  In the spirit of my being sick and wanting to die - tell me your "go to remedies" for when you are sick?

I hate being sick… But it is usually emgergen C packets, Garlic pills and Nyquil

5.  Repeat question:  Summarize your week in blog land and in real life.
Blog life has been non existent… I have been super busy the last few weeks.

Real life… Man it has sucked. I have had a bunch of tests, finals is next week and I have to get ready for that… Work has been absolutely brutal and it doesn’t help that I also have Bronchitis… I can not wait for school to be over and for me to not be sick anymore.

BYOC!!!!!!!!

It's FRIDAY so that means it's BYOC - Bring Your Own Crazy! We answer a couple of questions in an effort to get to know each other better and to give our blogging brains a break! Copy and paste and answer in your own blogs if you'd like!! ENJOY!!

1.  Let's stick with the pictures/exercise and shoe topic and post a picture of (or describe) your work out shoes.

Hrmm Well I don’t have a pictures of my favorite work out shoes close up. But they are Purple and White Adidas. I also have Navy pink and white Asics.

2.  Again with the summer/hot theme of the week....what does your current swimsuit look like?

I hate wearing bathing suits in public… LOL I try to avoid it all costs. I do however have a black one piece and a navy blue one piece. Nothing exciting, I am being forced by my best friend to go to a pool party tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it.

3.  Do you lay out, fake bake, sunless spray tan or use tanning lotion?

I lay out when I have time, but its not very often and I don’t see the point as I burn, and then peel. I am your typically very fair skinned Irish girl.

I am so white, I glow in the dark, I have also been called Casper. LOL

No one can believe I live in Florida since I am really that pale.

4.  Describe your week in blogland and in real life.

Life continued to be Brutal, with deadlines at work, and tests at school and papers to write. I have two huge papers due in the next week… looks like I Know what I am going to be doing on my long weekend… YAY for me, I really need to stop slacking and get things done ahead of time… but that never seems to work for me. LOL

Blog land was pretty good, I am continuing to meet new people, and I love the comments and support I get… I am really looking forward to October, and this incredible journey that’s ahead of me. I have realized this past year has been a combination of good and bad things, and I can not wait to see where I am next year.
